Complete and submit this online hotel sub-block request form if you need guest rooms only for your group of 10 or more. <br /><br /><b>Please Note:</b> <br />• Hotel availability is on a first-come, first-serve basis. <br />• Hotel sub-block requests must be a minimum of ten (10) rooms on event nights. <br />• All starting rates below are based on single/double occupancy. Rates may increase with additional occupancy. <br />• Please make each hotel selection unique and do not choose the same hotel more than once. Choosing the same hotel more than once will not increase your chances of being assigned that hotel. We will do our best to accommodate your requests. <br />• You will receive a block confirmation email within <b>five (5) to seven (7) business days</b>. <br /><br /><b>Important Deadlines:</b> <br />• All sub-block requests must be completed by Thursday, April 30, 2026. <br />• All reservations must be booked by Tuesday, May 12, 2026. After this date, any rooms not assigned to a valid name will be released from your sub-block. <br />• A cancellation fee of $50 will apply for each reservation cancelled at any time. <br /><br /><b>Cancellation Policy:</b> <br /><br />All reservations require a valid credit card to hold a reservation. Cancellations must be made at least (3) days or (72) hours prior to your arrival date to avoid a hotel cancellation fee of one night's room and tax. <br /><br />In addition, the SPIE Astronomical Telescopes + Instrumentation (AS) housing bureau, ConferenceDirect, will charge a $50 cancellation fee for room cancellations made at any time. Once you receive the link, you will need to set up a personalized username and password. You will be able to access your sub-block to manage all reservations online. A tutorial document will be provided within that email. <br /><br />•You can enter reservations individually, securely upload a room list to your dashboard, or share a link with your team to book their own rooms. You will have the option to use one credit card to guarantee all reservations or use individual cards at the time of booking. <br /><br />•Once the individual reservations are entered into the system, an acknowledgement e-mail can be sent to the contact's email provided. <br /><br />•You can continue to make changes to your room block within your dashboard until Monday, June 1, 2026.
